The Legacies of Labor: The Lebanese in Lawrence podcast series uses clips from oral histories to

describe the experience of Lebanese-American immigrants living in Lawrence, Massachusetts,

from 1890 to 1950. In this series of clips, Juliet Bistany, Emeline Provost, and Robert Hatem

describe their parents’ experiences working in the mills and its dangers. You also can hear a clip

of what it would have sounded like in the mills to give you an idea of the working conditions.
