On this month's episode of "A Public Affair" with Community Foundation Boulder County, we learn about Penfield Tate II – Boulder’s only African American mayor. Penfield Tate II was elected to the Boulder City Council in 1971. In 1974, his fellow council members chose him to become Mayor of Boulder, where he served until 1976. Tate’s son, Penfield Tate III, and Glenda Russell are our guests.
