Pastor Mark Lehmann joins us on the podcast! Pastor Mark and his wife, Dee, have pastored Cornerstone Church in Bowie, MD for the past 26 years. They have been devoted to building a culture of prayer, to reaching their area and the world for Jesus, and to building a church family that reflects heaven, in its unity, diversity and generosity. Mark also serves as the Assistant Superintendent for the Assemblies of God Potomac network and serves on several national boards dealing with missions around the nation and the world. It was awesome to hear how God has shaped his character through experiences and how perseverance has played a key role in his success.
Fellow Legendary brother, Jeff Hartensveld, sits down with us to discuss the important topic of leadership. Jeff and his wife Liz direct the Asia Pacific region for AGWM and serve on the mission's executive committee. They oversee nearly 350 Missionaries and Missionary associates spread throughout the 33 countries of Asia Pacific. Jeff & Liz also served for 23 years in Indonesia, mainly in the area of church planting, pastoring and training.
In this episode Jeff talks about how leadership has to be developed and intentional in our lives. He shares with us that leadership is "1. study-developed, 2. Self-developed, and 3. Peer-developed."
