On Day 40 of our Lenten Lectio Divina journey, we reflect on Luke 24:30-32, where the risen Jesus is made known to two disciples in the breaking of the bread. Their eyes are opened, and their hearts burn within them as they realize who has been walking beside them all along. On this Holy Saturday, as we wait between death and resurrection, may we ask: Where have we encountered the risen Christ—even when we didn’t recognize Him at first? Let’s listen, reflect, and hold on to the hope that Easter is near.
