When giving two weeks' notice, you feel as if you are leaving the company on good terms. Which most likely is true. Often we do not expect a backlash if we follow company policy. However, that is always not the case. These are the lessons I learned when I gave 30 days' notice at my job and how my exit strategy did not go as planned.
