In our culture today, many people "listen with their eyes and think with their feelings." Many of the cultural issues of our day place many people in the reality of subjective truth. Springboarding off our our first point that truth about reality is knowable (Point 1), we find ourselves making absolute truth claims. Those absolute truth claims cannot be both true and false at the same time. Truth by its very nature excludes its opposite.
If you don't think so, would you feel the same way about things like your integrity, bank account, prescriptions from you physician, personal safety in hazardous environments, or getting wrong results from a True/False test? Making absolute truth claims or being the hearer of them is inescapable.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast, we move to the second point of the Twelve Points Showing Christianity as True, the Opposite of True is False and the Law of Non Contradiction. The law of non contradiction states that opposite ideas cannot be both be true at the same time and in the same way. Any claim or viewpoint such as relativism and nominalism (explained in the show) results in contradictions and is always and necessarily false.
