The ideology of religious pluralism falls under the banner of cultural relativism, and states that all religions are simply different perceptions of the same ultimate reality. Many today believe that all the quantitative religious faiths are but different paths to one reality, God. There is a popular adage in the secular city which says that there are different mountain roads which all lead to the same summit. This has been the consensus of much of America over the last 30 years or so. However with the tectonic ideological shifts currently taking place, this thinking is aggressively making its roots deeper in our culture.
On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob addresses six issues that show religious relativism and pluralism to be a bankrupt ideology. On this episode, Rob moves from the law of non contradiction through the problems found in the fundamentals of the religions, and ultimately lands at the word of Jesus in John 14:6, where he says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." Did Jesu tell the truth? Was He delusional? Or is He Lord? Rob addresses these questions and a whole lot more.
