If we were to look around, we find many groups vying for the microphone of our culture, each with their own interpretation of what is truth, what is right and wrong, and other views. When one determines their particular understanding of truth, all other views are subject to that subjective standard. That being stated, the question of the existence of truth is under assault in our culture from the college campus to the picketer and protester in the downtown streets.
Does truth exist? How do people understand truth from positions of agnosticism, skepticism, postmodernism, and relativism? On The Let's Get Real Podcast, Rob answers this question breaking down the various interpretations of how people determine their truth. He then moves to defining truth as that which corresponds to reality and shows how it is true for every person, in every place and for every time. This view is known as absolutism and Rob shows how it can be defended by turning the claims objecting to it on themselves.
