Atheism is the belief that there is no God. At the same time, there is a haunting statistic that is decades old which shows that 75-88% of Christian young people are walking away from the faith and becoming atheists, agnostics or "Nones." This is a problem that is not going away, and Rob shares thoughts on the reasons why this phenomenon is still with us. He also points out that the culpability is not just on the church, but on the emotionally charged decision of the young person becoming a skeptic. At the same time, the Rob points out that the church needs to do a better job on training its young people to be ready for the objections that will hit them their first year of college or out in the marketplace, so that they will not be blindsided when they leave home.
