This week's episode to The Let's Get Real Podcast, I follow up with presenting source quotes to substantiate the usage of the mathematical operations (+ - x and /) for recognizing a cult or cultic teaching. The church and culture has been inundated with the cults and cultic teaching since the 1800's and even before in the early 1st century church; and they will be here until Jesus returns. However, cultic teaching and acceptance of deviant groups are not to be affirmed as orthodox Christian teaching. Jesus warned of deceivers, and the Apostle Paul warned us of false gospels, false Christ's and a false spirit, masquerading as the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 11).
