Liberality is not something you manufacture in your human strength; it is a grace God gives. Liberality is the ability to give joyfully and willingly, not out of pressure or obligation, but from a heart empowered by grace. Man’s natural tendency is to hold back and lay up goods for himself, but God’s grace enables every believer to give freely just like the Macedonian church, who gave beyond their means with joy.

Everything in our walk with God operates by grace through faith. When we grow in the grace of liberality, we open ourselves up to other dimensions of God’s grace and position our lives to experience His abundance beyond our effort or expectations.

There is no redemption without the generosity of God. As we walk in humility, grow in knowledge, remain prayerful, and respond to the grace already at work in us, we begin to experience more of God’s all-sufficient grace. Liberality is not just about giving; it is our access point into a life where grace continually produces more grace.
