ISRAEL - US - IRAN

Marjorie Taylor Greene says it well regarding two matters. Trump pushing for more unconstitutional and immoral attacks on Iran, and the Zionist love of censorship and propaganda in the US. LINK Col Larry Wilkerson offers precisely right commentary about how Netanyahu wants the attack, cannot do it via Israel, and is pushing Trump to do it. LINK AND Ana Kasparian offers salient points re Israel running US politicians in both parties. Her mention of “democracy” is a foundational canard, of course, but her point about Zionist power is key. LINK
AND, in Iran, the CIA appears to be pushing pockets of protesters, then the Trump admin and warmongers are claiming they will “stand up for” the protesters against the government, somehow thinking they can pass that off as a pretext for an attack. LINK MORE LINK
Israel still blocks essential items, after blocking over 30 aid orgs this week, from going into Gaza. LINK
-AND an astonishing, but “it fits with previous info we know” revelation: Israel asked Qatar to supply Hamas with even MORE funds just a month prior to Oct 7. LINK

VENEZUELA

Nicolas Maduro again has offered to negotiate with Trump. LINK The latest developments as of today show Maduro extending an olive branch in a pre-taped state TV interview aired today. He expressed readiness for “serious talks” on combating drug trafficking, dismissing U.S. accusations against his government as fabricated (comparing them to the Iraq WMD claims), and invited American investments in Venezuela’s oil sector, citing Chevron as a model. Maduro stated, “If they want to seriously discuss an agreement to combat drug trafficking, we’re ready,” and added that Venezuela is open to dialogue “whenever they want, wherever they want, and however they want” on drugs, oil, and migration. He declined to comment on a recent CIA strike on a Venezuelan dock but referenced a cordial November 21 phone call with Trump as a potential starting point. LINK
-On DEC 31 the US hit another 5 boats and killed more people in the Caribbean. LINK

US - SOMALIA - SOMALILAND

Kit Klarenberg has a very good piece that helps one understand the splinters in Somalia, the power-plays there to back Israel and harm the Houthis in Yemen, and more. LINK

US-CIA TIES TO UKRAINE ATTACKS IN RUSSIA

The Ron Paul Institute has excellent coverage of, and additions to, the NYT expose that the CIA long has been involved with Ukrainian drone and other strikes inside Russia. Likely the recent Novgorod strike also had help from the CIA. LINK MORE LINK
-Zelenskyy just named a widely recognized terrorist to be his new Chief of Staff. LINK
-This follows a barbarous attack on New Year’s Eve, by Ukraine, against civilians celebrating the new year, and it coincides with NEW attacks on civilians. LINK We will dig into all of this Ukraine-US darkness tonight, on Liberty Conspiracy LIVE, at 6 on Rumble and X.
-Russia is closing Odessa to Ukrainian ships. The war will be decided militarily, regardless of the delay and obfuscation tactics of Trump, the EU, and NATO. LINK
-This is a key conversation on that, from Danny Haiphong, Larry Johnson, and Larry Wilkerson. LINKIMMIGRATION POLICE STATE

-Trump says he is withdrawing National Guard Troops from Chicago: LINK
-A Federal District Judge Wednesday blocked the Trump Admin from revoking temporary protective status for 60K migrants. Many people who opposed Biden’s immigration policies called out his wide-open application of this “legal category”, which the Bidenistas used to bring in tens of thousands and then give free accommodations to many of those folks. But the key is that the central political machine should have nothing to do with “protective status” or any other kind of immigration. Not only is there nothing in the US Constitution allowing such “control”, the very idea of the polis telling people that they cannot interact is offensive. The act of moving to live someplace is NOT an offense against another person. LINK
-ICE just deported a single father of 6 who has been living in the US for 34 years. LINK
-A new report reveals that migrants who, when applying to enter the US, make claims of being victims of domestic abuse face stricter scrutiny than others. This cadre of people has risen because a portion of the Violence Against Women Act (an unconstitutional federalization of something that is supposed to be a state and local issue) included a provision offering special, accelerated, consideration for migrants making such claims. LINK From the article: ‘In 1994, Congress passed the Violence Against Women Act, which has allowed immigrant non-citizens who have been abused by their U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident relative to independently petition for themselves (self-petition) for immigrant classification without the abuser’s knowledge, consent, or participation in the immigration process. This has allowed victims to seek both safety and independence from their abusers, the agency says on its website.’ - But since the number of those applications has skyrocketed recently, the feds are cracking down.
-This, yet another tragic story of federal invasion, terrorism, and kidnapping, is garnering some attention, and might help some “on the fence” Americans see the evil of the immigration police state. This former Miss Hawaii is fighting to keep her HUSBAND in the US. LINK
-A Utah-based federal judge Dec 31 ordered the Trump administration to facilitate the return of a man whom administration officials acknowledge was deported in violation of a court order. LINK
-AND a new study links massive economic damage in CA to what appears to have been a key catalyst: removal of migrants from fields, construction, more. LINK
-MALI and BURKINA FASO have responded to Trump’s bans on visitors from those nations (and 37 others) by imposing bans on US visitors to those nations. LINK As of January 2, 2026, the expanded travel restrictions under President Trump’s December 16, 2025 proclamation impose full restrictions (suspension of entry as immigrants and most nonimmigrants, effectively barring new visa issuance in nearly all categories) on nationals of the following 19 countries: Afghanistan, Burma (Myanmar), Burkina Faso, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Laos, Libya, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, along with individuals holding travel documents issued by the Palestinian Authority. Partial restrictions (primarily suspending immigrant visas and key nonimmigrant categories such as visitor, student, and exchange visas, while permitting certain work visas with reduced validity and heightened scrutiny) apply to nationals of the following 20 countries: Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Cuba, Dominica, Gabon, Gambia, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Venezuela, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Turkmenistan, previously under partial restrictions, has been eased and is no longer included. DROP SITE NEWS has good coverage of the Burkina Faso move. LINK

US ECONOMY AND TARIFF TERRORISM

-Kevin Hassett, supremo advisor to Trump on economics, just admitted on CNBC that US manufacturing jobs have declined for SEVEN STRAIGHT MONTHS. Only a madman would expect hiring to increase or stay the same, when Trump has imposed a plethora of new costs on them (from tariff expenses, to higher energy costs, to immigration police thuggery that sees workers yanked out of facilities). LINK
This article, headlined with a reference to a 116-year-old steel plant closing due to Trump’s tariffs, is a good introduction to the stunning losses in the mills. Here is the link. Reports from December 2025 highlight surges in bankruptcies (over 700 companies last year, the highest since 2010), with manufacturing and steel-related sectors heavily affected.
-The Trump Admin just announced that it is not going to impose its 91% “anti-dumping” tariff on Italian pasta, leaving some with the mistaken impression that Trump has made things less expensive for them than they were a year ago. LINK Again, as with his other tariff rhetoric, this is false. Not only will pasta such as Garofolo be hit with a 13.98% “anti-dumping” tariff tax, there are the EU tariffs Trump has imposed. Let’s do a temporal comparison.
Under the new Trump administration announcement slashing the proposed anti-dumping duties (purportedly effective for imports starting this month, but, actually pending final confirmation in March 2026), the combined total tariff is 15% ( which is the new baseline on EU imports imposed in 2025) + 13.98% (revised anti-dumping) = 28.98%.On July 30, 2024 (prior to the new baseline tariff and the current review period), there was no 15% baseline tariff in place; the total tariff consisted only of the then-applicable anti-dumping duty from prior reviews, which for Garofalo was approximately 2% (based on historical patterns of small penalties for cooperating producers in previous administrative reviews). The overall percentage increase in the total tariff rate is (28.98% - 2%) / 2% × 100% = 1,349%.

-DISTILLERIES, REVISITED: Yeah. The spirits industry in the US is crashing due to Trump’s tariffs. LINK LINK Verified reports list 7 major U.S. distillery bankruptcies in 2025 (often equated with closures or halts, though some continued operations during reorganization): A.M. Scott Distillery (December), Luca Mariano Distillery (August), Devils River Distillery (May), JJ Pfister Distilling Co. (May), House Spirits Distillery (April), Boston Harbor Distillery (March), and Lee Spirits Co. (March). But, in order to fully grasp the dist-aster of Trump’s tariffs, one must look deeper, at smaller distiller interests.
Broader industry data from the Craft Spirits Data Project shows a net loss of 787 active craft distilleries (from 3,069 in August 2024 to 2,282 in August 2025), implying at least that many closures (assuming minimal new openings in a downturn year), far exceeding the FIRST article’s 11. n comparison, 2024 saw a net gain of 316 active craft distilleries (from 2,753 in August 2023 to 3,069 in August 2024), indicating openings outnumbered closures that year. Specific closure numbers for 2024 are not precisely tracked, but major bankruptcies were minimal (e.g., potentially 1-2 like an early Lee Spirits filing, though most sources date it to 2025), with the industry in growth mode amid strong exports. The 787 net closures in the 2025 period represent 25.6% of the prior universe of 3,069 active craft distilleries (which comprise the vast majority of U.S. distillers overall).
Large craft producers (top ~2% by volume, generating >54% of craft output; roughly 46-60 producers): Minimal closures (0-1%), as these focus on exports and home-state sales to weather downturns. No major large distillers (e.g., non-craft giants like Jim Beam) closed, though some halted production.

  • Medium craft producers (~217 producers, averaging ~20,000 9L cases annually): ~12-13% decline from recent peaks, representing ~5-10% of total closures (e.g., House Spirits fits here).

  • Small craft producers (2,551 producers, <5,258 cases annually; ~90% of all craft): The bulk of closures (85-90%), as these rely heavily on local sales and face the steepest tariff/export/demand pressures.

This, from Larry Reed, of FEE, is excellent as a way to open some eyes to the evils of tariffs. LINK

A LESSON IN THE TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS

This story, from CA, epitomizes the fundamental problem of government through the polis. When property is pubic, i.e. funded through taxation, disparate factions and interests will battle to control the communized resources. Here, the resource is space, and all the attendant factors of people living in an area versus people trying to travel through it. This is about virtually homeless people getting RVs and parking them in areas where the CA or local governments previously had statutory obligations to keep those areas clear for travel. Without private property respect, management of resources is impossible. LINK

NYC MAYOR MAMDANI REVOKES BUNCHES OF ERIC ADAMS “ORDERS”

Yep. And he is taking some interesting moves when it comes to residential building. Despite his rhetoric re price controls, he appears to want to open up more space for housing. Here is the mixed bag from Mamdani. LINK
-AND Mamdani scrapped the insane definition of “antisemitism” on day one. LINK
