We had a lot of fun diving into the breaking news and sharing great fiction tonight! We hope you enjoy this program, and, remember, in the last hour, we jump into the world of Fiction, reading a short story by the great British writer, Conrad Williams!
Here are some of the major issues we explored, tonight…
US ECONOMY:
AMERICA “SNAPS” OVER SNAP
- The expectations of many Americans — be they arms makers, solar/climate corporations, wind/climate boondoggles, auto-makers, state politicians expecting federal cash, educational “institutions” or many more — are such that they believe they DESERVE, are ENTITLED TO, the fruits of other people’s labor. Here is an example of the SNAP grocery snatches starting, in New England. LINK
- Airlines are funding/feeding air traffic controllers during the dreaded federal government “shutdown” (ask ICE victims or people in Venezuela how shut down the monster is), which, as I got to note in David Knight’s chat this morning, is an indication that air traffic control could be handled privately, by airlines or other parties, and, by being put into private hands, allow those not using the planes to not have to subsidize the air traffic routes. Similarly, a truly free paradigm likely would see property rights protections for people on the ground, and a completely different arrangement for flight routes and liability considerations, rather than the inefficient, politically-driven air route system the feds imposed on us, starting with the Lighted Air Routes system they imposed in the 1920s. - As Daily Skeptic notes, Trump’s energy blocks against Russian imports simply harm domestic Americans - like the EU blocks harm the European people. LINK - On Liberty Conspiracy, we try to reiterate the fact that the US government has been blocking Russian energy exports for years, pushing up prices for transportation, home heating, and even fertilizer (bentonite clay requires high heat for its use in fertilizer). Since that above link is a pay link, here is some important background information.
As of October 31, 2025, the Trump Administration not only has maintained but significantly escalated restrictions on the importation of Russian oil, gasoline, natural gas, and other fuels, building on bans established during the Biden era in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Rather than easing these measures—as some pre-election speculation suggested—the administration has prioritized tightening sanctions. Key assaults on our liberty include:
Oil and Gasoline: The U.S. continues to enforce a full ban on direct imports of Russian crude oil and petroleum products (including gasoline), in place since March 2022. In late October 2025, the administration imposed sweeping sanctions on Russia’s two largest oil producers, Rosneft and Gazprom Neft, blocking U.S. persons and entities from engaging in new transactions with them. These measures also target shadow fleet tankers used to evade prior sanctions, aiming to disrupt Russia’s ability to export discounted oil to third countries like China and India. No policy shifts toward resuming imports have been announced; instead, the focus is on boosting U.S. LNG exports to Europe to fill the gap left by reduced Russian supplies.
Natural Gas and LNG: A new ban on the purchase and import of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) was enacted as part of the administration’s 19th sanctions package on October 22, 2025, prohibiting U.S. imports of Russian LNG effective immediately. This aligns with the EU’s recent agreement to phase out all Russian gas imports by 2027, with the U.S. positioning itself to increase exports to allies. Pipeline natural gas imports from Russia remain negligible and banned since 2014.
… - On a similar vein, the Just Stop Oil members who threw orange paint all over Stonehenge (where, as Spinal Tap said, “the demons dwell, where the banshees live, and they do live well)? Well those folks have been cleared of criminal damage charges. If this were private property, the debate would not be as murky, the property owner would have a right to sue for damages. LINK
- Trump’s arbitrary and sudden call to eliminate production and use of the penny is causing turmoil in retail sales. In many locales, sellers are forbidden from rounding up, so they will have to round DOWN. If they do not increase their initial margins, they will be losing millions every day across the nation. This lack of profitability will eat into other areas of business, such as R+D or new hires or construction. LINK
- Trump’s crackdown on trucking continues, further damaging the supply chain. LINK
WAR
US-RUSSIA-NUKES
-RT repeats a key point from the Russian govt, that Trump’s recent boast about US nukes might indicate a breach in a already-established nuke limitation agreements. VENEZUELA, COLUMBIA, BRAZIL, MEXICO, CUBA?
- Hegseth lies and boasts. LINK
- Let’s begin with a brief one on Cuba and Mike Waltz at the UN, saying dumb things about the Cubans helping to traffick drugs, when, in fact, the Cuban government has helped the US in the Caribbean (not the most noble thing, but we can see Waltz’s hypocrisy, esp since the US guarded the Afghan poppies for two decades and helped the poppy industry there rise to take over 97% of the world market). The Cuban rep to the UN smashed back, in stylish form. LINK
- Earlier today, reports floated ‘round that Trump was prepping to attack on the ground in VZ. Ro Khanna’s response is worthwhile. LINK
- The White House dismissed those reports. LINK
- As Antiwar notes, not only have the killers in the Trump Admin not proven any criminal activity on the part of the nearly 60 people they killed in 15 boats (so far) in the past 45 days, they don’t even know who they are. LINK
- AND, let’s remember that, even though the argument of drug trafficking would not be justification to attack anyone, that argument, also, was revealed to be false by a leaked Intel memo last spring. LINK Ms Muchado (she the “PEES PRIZE winner” worked with the US to concoct stories in preparation for this US move against Maduro that we are seeing now. LINK
- Hegseth has ordered close military in the Pentagoon to sign NDAs - a signal that he knows that he is ordering them to engage in lawless acts. LINK
- More Russian planes are landing in Venezuela. LINK
- This statement from Senator Slotkin (D-MI) is fuel for good exchanges about the lawless Trump escapades and mass murder in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific. LINK

- Netanyahu continues to imply that Israel will continue to occupy Gaza, this time claiming it will be to “disarm” Hamas, which, as we know, received tens of millions of our tax dollars through Qatar on the orders of the US and Netanyahu. LINK
- From In The Brink: ‘Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen boasts about Israel’s global sabotage operations. ￭ He admits developing and spreading “manipulated” or “booby-trapped” electronics, like pagers and walkie‑talkies, across “all countries you can imagine,” though not Gaza. ￭ Cohen says the method, invented between 2002 and 2004, was already used in Lebanon’s second war. ￭ He describes infiltrating “enemy supply chains”, claiming he’d “sell them everything,” revealing Mossad’s reach in planting rigged devices and spying tools worldwide.
