ISRAEL-GAZA
Peace deal? Well… Ben Shapiro took time away from collecting money from pro-Zionist fans to claim that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. As a war criminal and accomplice and facilitator to genocide, he would be in good company with Obama. LINK Here is Trump’s claim. Antiwar has good coverage about the announcement. LINK As Antiwar notes: “Israel previously broke a Gaza ceasefire deal that was signed in January and has constantly violated a Lebanon ceasefire deal that it signed in November 2024. After Trump’s announcement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he will convene his government on Thursday to “approve the agreement and bring all our dear hostages home.”— and here is what Netanyahu did as people in Gaza thought they might be safer and not get bombed. Obviously, Israel attacked them in places like Gaza City. Because, well, Netanyahu is an accused war criminal. LINK And here is more… LINK
Trump also told Fox News that his tariffs helped bring peace… Talk about insanity. Tariffs are, by their nature, aggressive threats. They are forms of pre-conditioned embargo. Here is the Judge, with Scott Ritter, midway into their chat today, discussing some of what Trump claimed. LINK Ritter doesn’t slam Trump enough, IMO.
There is something very artificial-looking about this gathering to “hear the announcement” with Howard Lutnick LINK
Natali Morris writes: “Trump declared that Hamas and Israel have agreed to the first phase of his peace plan. It is unclear if the final agreement includes all 21 points of his original proposal from last week.
He does say that the Israeli hostages will be released “very soon” but made no mention of the Palestinian hostages currently held by Israel. The initial does call for Israel to release the “250 life sentence prisoners plus 1700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023.”
That number does not include the roughly 4,000 Palestinians already in Israeli custody prior to October 7 due to their illegal practice of “administrative detention” - meaning their wellbeing remains a question mark.
President Trump says that “Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps.” In the original plan, that line was about half-way between the border and the coast of the Gaza Strip.
Haaretz also reports that the IDF is preparing for a withdrawal but they have had no official instructions other than “the one published by U.S. President Donald Trump on social media, which does not provide sufficient clarity regarding the full implications of the proposed deal.” That would be almost comical if it weren’t so critical for the lives of civilians on both sides.

Let’s recall that Drop Site News reports that “journalists” including CNN’s Van Jones are mentoring young reporters in a fellowship that promotes pro-Israel coverage. Curiously Jones recently accused Iran and Qatar of funding paid propaganda in a tasteless joke for which he apologized.

Jack Posobiec announced that Turning Point will be going the Superbowl halftime show (he also mentioned it all will be in English, for those who think that’s a big deal) This is a mistake. Bad idea. LINK

Thomas Massie (R-KY) reveals that there is ANOTHER Epstein list, with more names on it, including a US politician, and he says Kash Patel lied when saying that the govt had “no credible evidence that Epstein trafficked victims to.” Massie names one alleged recipient of the trafficked children (tied to Barclay’s Bank). CALIFORNIA - PUBLIC SCHOOLS, SPEECH, TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS
California has passed a law targeting antisemitism in schools — a clear free speech violation, a violation of the CA Constitution. Early drafts even sought to outlaw criticism of Israel.
AND Cal’s assembly has passed an “online hate” policing bill. Will Newsom sign? Veto? LINK
