WAR
UKRAINE-RUSSIA PLAN - NOT Rejected. NOT accepted. The latest is that Zelinsky says he will meet with Vance to discuss. The Trumpers say he has until Thursday to accept. Zelinsky also is warning the Ukrainian civilians that they either accept this, or the people should prepare for a cold, hard, winter. That seems like an indication that he is going to agree to terms, one way or the other. LINK
The plan requires Ukraine to cede Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea to Russia, freeze frontlines in other areas, adopt permanent neutrality without NATO, limit its military to 600,000 troops (that is 8 times larger than it was in 2022 - in March of 2022, the Russians had agreed to allow an 85K member Ukrainian military), and hold elections within 100 days. In return, Russia pledges non-aggression, sanctions ease, and $200 billion in aid from frozen assets helps rebuild Ukraine—with the U.S. taking half the profits from one pot. Zelenskyy received it constructively, calling for refinements with partners, while Ukraine and European leaders firmly reject territorial losses and demand continued aid to pressure Russia. The US is pressing Ukraine to accept the peace plan (while the EU overall, UK, and Germany push for more war), by threatening to cut off Ukraine from intelligence and weaponry. This likely is a smokescreen, or a bluff, but it tacitly admits that the US has been sharing intel — which we all know, anyway, based on the fact that many of the US weapons given to Ukraine require US intel and expertise to operate. -The US just delivered its 1,000th immoral and unconstitutional arms shipment to Israel. LINK

VENEZUELA
Nima Alkorshid spoke with Larry Johnson and Lawrence Wilkerson today, and deep into the excellent conversation (covering Ukraine-Russia, Iran, Israel) they touched on a subject that could become more evident as the US influence in Venezuela gets more widely reported years from now. If Trump has placed intel and special ops personnel in VZ, it is likely that they will be left hanging by the misjudgments of the Admin, causing many deaths of US forces. They ought to know better than to get involved in aggression, but the politically powerful often have been shown to not care about the fates of those secret forces put into foreign lands. LINK

-Mike Walz had Nikki Minaj speak at the UN re the killing of Christians in Nigeria LINK. Why the US is focused on Nigeria has nothing to do with Christians, and it has nothing to do with their US Constitution. It also has no tie to any standard re the US disapproving of the slaughter of innocent people. More non-Christians have been killed there in the past year than Christians, if they are interested in playing their atrocious and hypocritical “save people from slaughter” fakery. There are myriad conflicts in Nigeria that have nothing to do with religion and which dominate the death rolls. Total murders (~40,000–50,000) far exceed religiously targeted killings. Non-Christians (mainly Muslims in northern insurgencies and banditry) account for the bulk, as Boko Haram/ISWAP primarily attack Muslim civilians (e.g., 60,000 moderate Muslims killed since 2009 per Intersociety). ACLED confirms most jihadist victims are Muslim. Re: In faith-linked violence, Christians are overrepresented (e.g., 6.5x more likely killed than Muslims per Open Doors). Middle Belt attacks (e.g., Benue/Plateau states) killed hundreds of Christians in 2025 (e.g., 280 in Yelewata massacre). Nigeria accounts for ~82% of global faith-related Christian killings (Open Doors 2024).

-California shows us more sad information about the tragic and evil nature and consequences of minimum wage mandates. Here, we see numerous Goodwill locations closing due to costs. LINK Goodwill must comply with the statewide rates, plus higher local minima in closure-affected areas (e.g., San Francisco’s $18.67/hour in 2025). From 2022–2025, the general rate rose ~10% overall, adding roughly $1–2/hour for frontline roles. For a typical Goodwill store with 20–30 employees averaging 25 hours/week, this equates to $25,000–$50,000 in annual added payroll per location (pre-tax). Sector analyses note nonprofits like Goodwill absorb ~70–80% of such hikes without full pass-through to prices, straining budgets.
Labor now comprises 50–60% of Goodwill’s operating expenses (up from ~45% in 2022), per industry benchmarks for thrift retail.
