Given the wild rush of the news, it was great to get together at 6 eastern and explore some of the VERY recent events and some of the big events that have given us opportunities to learn about liberty!

Here are some of the major items we discussed tonight:
TRUMP to PARDON FORMER PREZ of HONDURAS, WHO WAS CONVICTED OF DRUG SMUGGLING - b/c Trump hates drug smugglers. LINK

Let’s begin with an example of the double-vision, the self-delusion (perhaps), of Barack Obama when it comes to mass murder. Here, he says: “Violence has no place in America. Michelle and I are praying for the servicemembers shot in Washington, DC today, and send our love to their families as they enter this holiday season under the most tragic of circumstances.” — Yet, as journalist Ben Norton notes: “Obama bombed 7 countries, dropping 26,171 bombs in his last year as US president.
He waged non-stop war, and destroyed the government of Libya, the most prosperous country in Africa, making it a failed state with slave markets. He also supported violent coups in Latin America.” LINK
THE ALLEGED SHOOTER -
Remember, gun grabbers have not explained how this man who legally was not permitted to own a firearm in the US not only got a handgun, but moved across the continent with it then killed one and critically injured another…
-Trump makes an utter fool of himself (again) by claiming that the alleged shooter was “not vetted,” then, when corrected by an ABC news reporter, he mocks her and implies that she is “stupid”. LINK
-ANTIWAR gives us the key info to start, re Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the alleged (now murderer) of a Nat Guard soldier from W Virginia, named Sarah Beckstrom. LINK (He was trained by the CIA, vetted by the US govt and allowed into the US).
-Trump’s reaction when asked if he would attend Beckstrom’s funeral was bizarre, and focused on the fact that “West Virginia loves me.” - WHAHT? LINK This is valuable to view, given Trump’s personality problems. LINK
-AND THIS, TRUMP TYING SOMALIA INTO IT, FOR NO REASON. WHAT? LINK
Jennifer Griffing (who works for FoxNews, of all organizations!) writes: “Alleged shooter Rahmanullah Lakanwal worked for the CIA in Afghanistan out of Kandahar base, according to CIA director John Ratcliffe. Multiple sources tell me he was vetted before working with the CIA by the NCTC (National Counterterrorism Center) and the CIA. I am told that Lakanwal was with the Task Force in Kandahar. During the Afghan withdrawal, the CIA airlifted with the help of the US military many Afghan allies who had worked with the US government and took special care of those who were badged and worked with the agency. They were taken to bases in Qatar and Europe and then onward to military bases in the US where further vetting was supposed to take place. Having a CIA ID would have put him in the “vetted” category. I am told there was nothing in his background when he arrived in the US on Sept 8, 2021 that suggested links to terrorism. He applied for asylum last year and reportedly received asylum in April under the Trump administration.”
In other words, the centralized “immigration control” system the Feds claim to control, this pretense of power, has seen the fed vetting process done, and this man allowed through. This, despite the claims of Donald Trump, who not only denied that the man had been vetted, Trump threw insults at the reporter who cited the fact. LINK
And The GrayZone’s Aaron Mate notes this bout blowback: “One way to reduce terror attacks at home is to stop invading and occupying foreign countries. In this case, the Afghan shooter never would have been here had we not. The term for this is Blowback” —- This suspect is said to have started training with the CIA when he was 14 years old, trained in some of the most brutal forms of CIA covert ops on the books, from operation Cyclone (1978/79-1989) in Afghanistan, on…
-Trump now is calling for a review, or investigation, or some other SOVIET style tomfoolery of their own “vetting” errors. LINK

US-VENEZUELA - ”LEGAL ORDERS” + MORE
This “JAG” observes that there was nothing wrong with the statement from six Dems in the House and Senate who said that soldiers can choose not to comply with “illegal” orders. The discussion here does not go deep enough, to the level of the US Constitution, or deeper, to the level of individual freedom to not have to pay for the military operated by the polis. It also misses the point that “orders” that are considered “generally” lawful has nothing to do with “constitutional” and also means that orders are not universally considered “lawful” — meaning that those receiving them must study EACH ORDER. -Trump threatens land invasion of Venezuela that would be a disaster if he truly tried it. LINK

-Zelinksy’s Chief of Staff - out, due to the corruption charges. LINK
This partially fed-funded “think tanker” who pushes for more war (he also worked for Boozer-Allensses Hamilton, a defense (offense) contractor) and man whose hardcore Zionist parents came from Ukraine (in other words, they are European, not Semitic) wants the EU to finish its theft of Russian assets stored in a Brussels bank (Euroclear) and hand them to Ukraine. This is one of the most short-sighted ideas in modern history. LINK

-The US is pushing a plan to concentrate Palestinians inside housing units built w US taxpayer cash, run in a technocratic manner. Incredible. LINK

US ECONOMY
-Malls are experiencing the worst downturn and fastest rise of vacancies/bankruptcies since the 2020-2021 lockdowns. LINK From the piece: “The retail crisis is unfolding in real time. From January to November 2025, major retail chains are accelerating closures at a pace surpassing even the pandemic years. The broader industry is experiencing what analysts describe as the most severe retail contraction in recent history—not necessarily driven by bankruptcy, but by fundamental shifts in consumer behavior and retail economics.”
-A reminder that “Blue Collar” jobs are disappearing. with a drop of 59K since April. How odd. Trump increases costs for businesses by pushing tariffs on their factors of production, and, for some nutty reason, they can’t remain competitive and they have to shed workers. LINK
-Treasury Sec Bessent again appeared on NBC to lie about the economy, blame Biden, and claim that prices for food were down, when, in fact, they are up. LINK MORE of his foolishness. LINK
-More bad economic numbers, again, the worst October since 2003. LINK
