Donald Trump held another “White House Staff Meeting” that actually was one of their PR shows to have various tax sponges and members of his inner Supreme Soviet blow smoke for him. Here, we see Treasury Sec Scott Bessent not only claim that the US is NOT the force that has caused all the havoc in what was, previously, an open Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf, but that IRAN was going to try to undermine the US economy with its power over the Gulf. That is the same man who, last month, bragged about trying to destabilize the Iranian population by undermining the Iranian currency, calling it “economic warfare.” Seriously. Utterly detestable.
Lawrence Wilkerson offered key thoughts on just this kind of sycophantic behavior…
