US MILITARISM v US ECONOMYThe AP just reported on a “study” by a pro-military-contractor “think tank” that tells us the US involvement in aggression against Iran has depleted LOTs of weapons systems. No duh. But, in this segment from the Ron Paul Liberty Report, you will see not only Dr. Paul pointing out the arrogance of Trump telling the Oman government to “behave” or Trump will attack them, you will see Daniel McAdams spell out how this “study” serves to be used as a “call sheet” as they would say in Hollywood, for the rhetoric to push for more military spending, more and more LINK
WHAT?!!! THIS IS SOOOO SHOCKING! ;)Yep. April 2026 PCE inflation accelerated to 3.8% year‑over‑year, up from 3.5% in March, marking the highest reading since May 2023. Core PCE rose to 3.3% year‑over‑year, up from 3.2%, reaching its highest level since late 2023. Both measures remain well above the Federal Reserve’s dumb and destructive “2% inflation target” (i.e. watering down the buying value of the Dollar by at least 2% per year, functionally equated/calculated), underscoring persistent price pressures due to fiat currency, fractional reserve banking, tariffs, energy locks, and heavy US taxes and diktats on businesses.

Fueled in part by higher energy costs and broader services inflation. Monthly PCE rose 0.4%.

Energy goods and services (including gasoline and other energy goods) rose +3.9% (with gasoline specifically surging +5.5%).
This contributed to overall goods prices +0.7% MoM and helped push headline PCE to +0.4% MoM (vs. core PCE at +0.2% MoM).cnbc.com

Soooo, what have Sen Jim Himes and Senator Richard (Danang Dick) Blumenthal (D-CT), Sen Chris Coons (D-DE), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI - recently cited for being a member of what is, essentially, a “Whites Only” yacht club) and Sen Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) done? They have traveled to Kiev (again) to grandstand in performative “defiance” of the Russian moves. Yep…
Senator Blumenthal has made multiple trips to Ukraine (at least 7–9 by his own count in recent statements). They met with Pseudo-President Zelenskyy, and publicly reaffirmed strong U.S. Congressional support, pushed for more weapons/air defense, and stated that Ukraine can prevail with adequate backing (and that Russia is failing) — all of which is false.
