IRAN

Is the long line of Trumpist lies re “negotiations” ever going to be tied to reality? Last night, Iran struck back against Israeli military sites, and Yemen launched against Saudi-US military and Israeli sites after Israeli aggressors attacked Beirut, killed at least two people and injured 11. Yemeni forces also appear to be readying to close the RED SEA to any shipping tied to Israel.

IRAN demands:

a. Israeli ceasefire over all of Lebanon b. Iranian funds returned by US and its proxies per the JCPOA agreement and international law c. Reparations d. NEW: Israel stop all kinetic activity in Gaza and allow food to return. e. Iran will control its territorial waters in the Strait of H. f. All talks re nuke power will wait at least 60 days to show US is willing to abide for a while.

Here is ANTIWAR on the unfolding situation. “Ceasefire On the Brink of Collapse as Iran Responds to Israeli Attacks on Beirut - News From Antiwar.com” LINK The Iranians explicitly have said “ceasefire for all, or ceasefire for no one.” This, of course, means that Trump can try to engage in rhetoric or even in “real talks” with Iran, but Netanyahu immediately can undercut those talks by attacking Lebanon.

Jeremy Scahill and a few others on X are beginning to post the latest - that Iran is holding further fire unless Israel attacks Lebanon again.

And, again, Yemen’s Ansar Allah appears ready to block Israeli shipping

NOTE, BREAKING - Israel claims these were “false alarms”… No other word on this… let’s return to the story —

Natali Morris, of Redacted, offers keen insights about the Iranian undertaking, which is part of a series of RESPONSES to Israeli aggression. Here is her excellent coverage, from the Redacted morning E-mail:

’Iran launched a series of missile attacks on Israeli military bases in what is called Operation True Promise 5.

Iranian embassy channels say that this was “a warning shot.” They said that it was to “reiterate [that] the condition for a ceasefire has always been the total halting of conflicts across the entire region.”

This means Lebanon. They insist that Israel cease its attacks on Lebanon, which ramped up over the weekend, killing at least two people and injuring more than a dozen.

President Trump has reportedly asked Israel not to respond to the Iranian attacks and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has reportedly agreed. But then they responded anyway by striking “military targets belonging to the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran.”

Meanwhile, Israel will take it out on the people of Gaza. Israel has closed down crossings into the Gaza Strip, which will hamper the inflow of aid. But don’t worry about the aid. An Israeli statement said this:

“The substantial quantities of food that have entered the Strip since the beginning of the ceasefire significantly exceed the nutritional needs of the population, according to UN methodologies.”

In other words, they have enough.

It is too early to assess the damage of Operation True Promise 5 but early reports say that the target was Israel’s Ramat David airbase. Israel claims that it intercepted the missiles and did not report injuries but video evidence shows that this claim is false.

It is worth noting why this was called Operation True Promise 5.

Operation True Promise 1 started in April of 2024 after Israel struck an Iranian consulate in Damascus and killed Iranian officials. Iran retaliated with a missile strike in Israel.

Operation True Promise 2 began in October of 2024 after Israel targeted Iranian commander Abbas Nilforoushan and his family in their home inside Iran. Iran fired missiles back over Israel, aimed at military bases and infrastructure.

Operation True Promise 3 is also referred to as the 12-Day War. It began in June of 2025 after Israel struck Iranian military targets and the U.S. followed up with bombers. We were assured that Iran’s “nuclear program” was demolished and Iran responded with a barrage of missile attacks over Israel.

Operation True Promise 4 began on February 28 of this year after the U.S. and Israel struck a civilian school of young girls inside of Iran, killing at least 150 children.

Operation True Promise 5, well, you’re living through it. President Trump told NBC News that he intends for the conflict with Iran to be wrapped up very soon. It’s not even a war really, he said. “I call it a military exercise.”’

-Meanwhile, the grossness of US “policy makers” (i.e. gangsters) knows no bounds. Bessent wants to hand the escrowed (stolen) Iranian money to US allies in the Gulf region. AND… A FOLLOW-UP RE IRANIAN FUEL EXPORTS

We Friday noted in the News Notes that the Kobeissei letter had observed that Iranian oil-gas exports had crashed.

This seemed to run counter to what we had verified about Q1 Iranian exports and profits, with exports about the same as the during the same period in 2025 and profits up, due to higher prices.
Well, we dug in and found more information, and the K Letter has the facts well laid out, for Q2. This second quarter has seen a massive decline in Iranian exports. The Kobeissi report (and similar analyses from tanker trackers like Vortexa, Kpler, and UANI) is accurate and does not contradict what you heard about Q1 2026. The key is timing: your information refers to January–March 2026 (pre-blockade), while the May collapse reflects the U.S. naval blockade that began on April 13, 2026.
Q1 2026 Oil Exports vs. Q1 2025 (and Revenue)

  • Volumes were roughly comparable (or only modestly lower) to 2025 levels. Independent tanker-tracking data from UANI shows:

    • January 2026: ~1.51 million barrels per day (bpd).

    • March 2026: ~1.14 million bpd (down due to early wartime disruptions after the conflict escalated around Feb. 28).

    • Overall Q1 2026 average was in the 1.5–1.6+ million bpd range, similar to 2025 averages (which hovered around 1.6–1.7 million bpd in the first half of the year). Prices were significantly higher due to the Iran conflict (which began escalating in late February 2026 and caused a global oil price surge of roughly 40% in Q1). This offset any minor volume dips and boosted revenue.

    • As a result, Iran likely earned more from oil exports in Q1 2026 than in Q1 2025, even if volumes were similar or slightly down. For context, March 2026 exports alone were valued at ~$3.63 billion despite lower volumes, thanks to the price spike.

This matches what we got to report… Pre-blockade, Iran’s shadow fleet and sanctions-evasion tactics kept seaborne crude/condensate flows steady (mostly to China).
    The May 2026 Collapse (Post-Blockade)
The U.S. naval blockade (targeting vessels at Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman) took full effect after mid-April:

    • April 2026: Exports fell to ~1.34 million bpd (partial month impact).

    • May 2026: Crashed to 209,000 bpd (Vortexa) or ~260,000 bpd (Kpler estimate)—the lowest since 2019–2020. This is an 84% drop from April and 87–89% below recent averages.

    • Tens of millions of barrels are now stranded in floating storage or at ports; China’s imports of Iranian crude plunged. The blockade has been highly effective at choking seaborne crude flows, with only tiny volumes (if any) slipping through via smaller tankers or evasion tactics.

Natural gas exports (mostly via pipelines to Turkey and Iraq) were largely unaffected by the naval blockade, though domestic priorities and war-related issues at facilities like South Pars caused some curtailments.
Petrochemical Exports (Sea vs. Land Routes)
Petrochemicals (e.g., methanol, polyethylene, ethylene glycol, fertilizers, naphtha) are a major non-oil revenue source for Iran—historically ~$20–30 billion annually pre-war, with much of it seaborne to Asia.

    • Sea routes (vast majority pre-2026): These were devastated. In April 2026, Iran halted all petrochemical exports (state directive) to prioritize domestic supply amid war damage to plants (e.g., strikes on Mahshahr and South Pars hubs disrupted ~85% of export capacity) and raw material shortages.

By May, only minimal seaborne volumes got out—mostly small naphtha shipments (a petrochemical product) to China. No significant crude got past the blockade, per UANI.

    • Land/overland routes: Iran has ramped up efforts here to bypass the blockade, but volumes remain small and cannot replace sea exports:

      • Rail: Limited shipments of crude, bitumen, and petrochemicals to China via corridors through Kazakhstan/Turkmenistan (or Pakistan-linked routes). Transit is ~15 days (vs. 30–40 by sea), but capacity is tiny compared to tankers—trains can’t handle bulk crude volumes at scale.

      • Truck/pipeline-adjacent: Petroleum liquids and some petrochemical products go to neighbors (e.g., Iraq, Turkey) by truck. These routes are unaffected by the naval blockade.

      • Overall impact: These are “niche supplements” at best. Analysts (e.g., Soufan Center, Lloyd’s List) note they help marginally with general trade but don’t move meaningful oil or petrochemical volumes. No public data shows large Q1–Q2 2026 increases that offset sea losses.

In short: Petrochemical sea exports were already curtailed by war damage and the April halt, then further squeezed by the blockade. Land routes provide some relief for products but are logistically limited and haven’t restored prior revenue levels.
Bottom line: The Q1 information holds up— and the new the blockade’s effects are a post-April phenomenon. Crude oil (the focus of Kobeissi’s report) has collapsed at sea, while petrochemicals shifted to a domestic-first policy with limited land rerouting. Natural gas pipelines continue operating relatively normally. Sustained blockade pressure is creating real fiscal strain on Iran, as oil/pet-chem revenues (its lifeline) are now severely curtailed. Data here draws from tanker trackers (UANI, Vortexa, Kpler), Reuters, Lloyd’s List, and other independent sources.

THE INTEL FUSION: US-ISRAEL - PROPOSED BY TOM COTTON

As Liberty Conspirators (Is that a term? Sounds good to me!) got to explore Friday, June 5, not only is the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) pushing to integrate US and Israeli military interests/corporations as a way to bring US graft directly to Israeli fungal figures (and see near permanent establishment of US-Israeli corporations in many states, which will retard attempts to disconnect from Israel), Tom Cotton, in the US Senate and on the Intel Committee, is pushing a unification of US-Israeli intel ties, and the corporate-fascist Big Tech connections the Trumpers and Israel already have (including their tied to Honduras and the ZEDE scheme) Here is more…

FREE SPEECH - ZIONISTA INFLUENCE

We did not get to discuss this Friday. From a true-freedom perspective, we oft hear critics of true liberty complain or worry that if there were no state, popular businesses would gain so much money and power that they would create de facto governments and control speech, or use their money to control or sway speech even within the market. Of course, we all know that big corporations (created as corporations thanks to government edict) try to sway public opinion, spending billions each year to entice folks to use their products rather than others. But even in the corporate world, only if they get further government aid via things like regulations against smaller startups, tariffs, or direct government support, can those corporations exist without pleasing customers. Otherwise, customers will be attracted to other options. And if corporations expend capital to suppress competition, that, eventually, harms their bottom line, and opens them to competition even more. Only the thuggish state can force people to pay it, and many thuggish states infuse their money into systems to manipulate communications in the private sphere.

ALBANIAN-TRUMP-FASCISM.

As the furor intensifies over Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s (they are the visible part of a much deeper US-Zionist corporate-fascist group) purchase of a highly valued Armenian island (an island hosting hundreds of tunnels from WWII, an island that is important as a strategic potential block of shipping in the area), we see more key info coming to light.

Here is the Albanian PM, Edi Rama, commenting on the land graft, which, of course, he sees as fine.
