Tonight, we started with a conversational diversion inspired by a live audience member, a chat about a book called “The Whiskey Rebellion: Frontier Epilogue to American Revolution” by Thomas Slaughter (Link) and then we rolled into a discussion of the US growth in warlike positioning in South Korea, the US backing expansion of Israel into the West Bank, Syria, Lebanon, and more, and the US sending three naval destroyers to the coast of Venezuela, all, the politicians tell us, for our protection. We study the peace negotiations between the US and Russia for an end to the Russian-Ukrainian War, and the rise of BRICS, and we also dig into the strange case of the flight of alleged child predator Tom Alexandrovich back to Israel.
