Among the subjects we hit:
This excellent conversation btwn Judge Andrew Napolitano and John Mearsheimer, in which they begin (at this point of the video) talking about the threats Lindsay Graham keeps making against Russia and its economy. As Mearsheimer notes, the US has no more “cards to play” at all. This Ukraine-Russia war likely will be decided by Russian military power because the US and EU politicians continue to push “peace plans” that have nothing to do with peace for Russia and place NATO-like troops in Ukraine without any influence from Russia to allow for Russian security. This is a great conversation between the judge and Jeffrey Sachs, but I do think Prof. Sachs misreads the Monroe Doctrine, for it was not just a statement of “don’t mess with the US and the US will not mess with your nations” – it was a statement/policy that saw Monroe claim to have the authority to police all of the Caribbean and Central America to be sure that any political changes in the nations in those regions did not adopt policies that Monroe claimed were dangerous to the US. It isn’t really a larger part of the conversation here, but I wanted to bring up that point. LINK!

The Dutch Foreign Minister just resigned over the opposition of other members of the Dutch govt agreeing to sanction Israel for genocide. LINK
Ukraine just hit the Druzhba “Friendship” Pipeline to Hungary and other EU nations AGAIN, signaling that Zelinsky and his pals have utterly no interest in peace, and attempting to draw Hungary into the conflict. While that gets headlines, Ursula von der Leyen just pledged BILLIONS of EUROS and lent more verbal support to Zelinsky. AND, though Trump has expressed public anger over this new attack, sending a letter to Hungary’s Prez, he is NOT calling back his plan to have NATO purchase US weapons to send to Ukraine. LINK

… and the foolhardy Trump just lent rhetorical support to additional Ukrainian attacks on Russia. LINK
When it comes to the US and Ukraine, the NATO gang, and EU still wandering around like blind men waving sticks of C-4 in front of them as they try to extend the bloodbath in Ukraine or get some NATO-like military presence on the ground there when Russia wins the war, this SONAR 21 piece is the first of two excellent ones I want to offer to you. This pertains to Trump’s parallel tariff threats, and how they merely have drawn India and Russia (and China) closer to create economic ties and deals, and to see China and India end export barriers. US District Court Judge Kathleen M. Williams has ordered a stop to additional construction of Alligator Alcatraz and for it to be dismantled, mostly… LINK! This must begin within 60 days. The judge cited violations of the National Environmental Policy Act.
Williams ruled that the Trump administration and Governor Ron DeSantis failed to conduct proper environmental reviews before building the facility in the sensitive Everglades wetlands, endangering species and water supplies. Environmentalists and the Miccosukee Tribe hailed the decision as a victory for conservation and humane treatment, while officials vowed to appeal, underscoring conflicts between immigration enforcement and ecological protections.

In the “rent-seeking” category of regulatory capture, the AP reports that the federal government that claims the unconstitutional and immoral power to “regulate” railroads leaves the inspection of railroad bridges in the hands of the rails, and does not require them to make their findings public. This allows for easy federal “okay” of the rail lines that might not happen if it were in the hands of a real market. LINK
