We had a great time chatting and studying the news tonight, and here are some of the matters we discussed!
At least 20 people, including four journalists, have been killed in a double-tap missile strike against Nasser Hospital, in Gaza. The journalists were caught in the second strike, which was sent to kill rescue workers. That footage is online, and RT has good coverage of it. We will dig into this tonight, on Liberty Conspiracy Live. LINK
This was in an area where journalists would congregate to get one of the few wifi signals they could.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Scahill offers key thoughts on the IDF, Israeli Govt. and US genocide-backers. LINK More
And let’s not overlook Trump’s great patriotism. He’s so patriotic, he wants to soil the Constitution some more and impose an “Executive Order” that would punish people who “burn the American flag.” What a guy… ;) Here is a bit from today’s “News Notes:”:
Trump just signed an Executive Order decreeing that anyone who burns a US Flag in public will go to prison for a year. LINK So, there’s his respect for the First Amendment translated from his great display on college campuses (threatening them with pullbacks of unconstitutional US funds that he doesn’t care are unconstitutional, but which he wants to use as leverage to silence people) to the FCC threats against social media re “terror support” to the visa revocations of foreign visitor students who might support Palestinians. Classy.
He also is defying a 1989 SCOTUS ruling. LINK
Trump is threatening more tariffs against imports of furniture, and, yep, it is supposedly to “protect” furniture makers in NC, SC, and MI. LINK
