What kind of a life does God bless? What kind of a heart is a kingdom-of-God kind of heart?

In Mark 12:35-44, we find Jesus again teaching at the Temple in Jerusalem in the last few days before the cross. Even in these last moments, he's patiently teaching the disciples what kind of life they are to live, and patiently striving to open the eyes of those who do not yet see him for who he really is--the Messiah.
