12/08/2024 Mark 4: 35-41     James 1: 2.  Jesus is our Peace!

God may not calm the storm around you, but He can calm the storm within you.

Storms are not something to get through, they’re something to grow through.

Finding peace in Jesus means spending time with Jesus.

This is not something we would choose, but it’s something God will use for our good and for His glory.

The pursuit of peace is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. The lesson in the storm is to realize that we need to focus on Jesus, not the storm. We need to be concerned with how we conduct ourselves during the tough times in our lives.
