Christmas came at a time in which it was bleak outlook for the Jews, God's promises seemed all but forgotten and He Himself had been silent for over 400 years. At a time when the days were darkest came the hope that was promised - the Light of one whom would be their savior. Christmas isnt just about remembering a savior came, but that His Light shines today as well.
