The legal news of the day can be challenging, depressing, and even anxiety producing. So Glenn decided to lighten things up a bit and do a recurring segment called "The Lighter Side of Legal."

In this new series, he sits down with TV news legal analysts and discusses things like:

• who inspired them to pursue legal analyst work?
• what are their most memorable cases when they were practicing law?
• what are their most memorable green room encounters?
• what are their favorite movies involving the law?
• and many other fun topics

For the first episode - he sat down with fellow MSNBC legal analyst Danny Cevallos. Given that Danny is a career defense attorney and Glenn's a former career prosecutor, they often come at the legal issues of the day from two very different perspectives. Yet, more often than not, they end up landing at the same place on the legal issues of the day.
