After Patterson's disappearance, more unsettling incidents, including livestock mutilations, unnatural lights, and strange sounds, occur. Grace Saunders, a resident of Hawthorn Gap, has a terrifying encounter with these "Visitors" on Copper Ridge, the highest peak in the area, leaving her convinced that something powerful and unknown is lurking in the mountains.
