A sudden, high-pitched acoustic vibration shakes the library, threatening the ancient, irreplaceable map of Silver Creek's infrastructure. Silas and Eliza use the heavy linen rolls as physical gaskets around the map's display stand, successfully dampening the specific frequency and saving the map. This confirms that the resonance crisis is manifesting in dangerous acoustic spikes capable of destroying sensitive materials, prompting Silas to worry about the silent silver bells in the Carillon of Wishes and the imminent Solstice Chime ceremony.
