Untethered with Jen Liss

The link between judgment and perfectionism

What’s on your mind, unicorn? 🦄 Send me a text!

Do you identify as a perfectionist?

When you're living a life that has to be perfect, you are welcoming throngs of judgment into your life. Your thoughts about yourself, and therefore your thoughts about your loved ones, your friends, your colleagues, that dude who takes your coffee order – it's all constantly living under the radar of your own spectacular judgmental laser eyes.

In this bonus episode, I share some personal experiences and learnings from my own journey as a recovering perfectionist and judgment Queen (with a capital Q) and my realization of how that lifestyle doesn't allow you to truly be yourself.

When you let that perfect image of yourself go, all those layers of judgment fall away, and you not only get to be you, but you get to create from the most glorious and divine space. And allow others to do the same.

If you enjoyed this episode and haven't yet listened to Season 3, Episode 31 featuring Ashleigh Renard, I highly recommend you go give it a listen.
