Confessions and Ramblings of a Functioning Psychotic

The Living Gothic Doll

Listen Later

For years, Danielle Graves was bullied in school.  She was told she was ugly, worthless, and never going to amount to anything.  She decided to start taking acting and modeling classes so that she could improve her look and move into a different lifestyle of acceptance.  As other "prettier" girls were getting chosen for roles and jobs, she realized that she still wasn't getting the satisfaction and acceptance she deserved so she decided she would take it a step further.  She wanted to be an original.  She wanted to be something that would be the only one in the world.  She then created The Living Gothic Doll- a girl with a doll-like appearance whose weight is 103 lbs and whose measurements are 32/18/35.

From 5 a.m. every single day, she performs a specific  routine that is necessary to create the doll image.  She claims to be a witch and has used witchcraft to slim her nose as well as to cast spells when and where necessary.  Danielle says because of witchcraft she will never age a day in her life.  She also claims to be a healer who gets paid to "heal" customers and to give tarot card readings.

While all of this sounds peculiar to us, many people suggest that they do not care what someone looks like or where they are from as long as they are a good person.  So is that true?  Do people treat Danielle with the respect that every single human deserves?   Or is she made fun of and still treated poorly?
