In this episode, we’ll explore ecosystems, which consist of both living and non-living components within a defined area. We’ll categorize organisms based on their roles, starting with producers, like plants, that create their own food using sunlight. We’ll then discuss consumers, which obtain energy by eating other organisms, and decomposers, such as bacteria and fungi, that recycle organic material and return nutrients to the soil. Finally, we’ll examine how these groups interact, highlighting the interconnectedness and balance that sustain life within an ecosystem.
