There's no denying that director Yorgos Lanthimos's style is an acquired taste. Even 'The Lobster', probably his best and most accessible movie, will only appeal to a specific audience. That being said, even those that don't enjoy his style would be hard-pressed to find issues with the filmmaking in this one.
