“Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”

“By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 13:35

1: What does unity look like? V 21b

Love (agape) V 23: undefeatable benevolence and unconquerable goodwill that always seeks the highest good of the other, no matter what the other may do.

App: So realizing God’s pleasure with us that it manifests in our pleasure with others

2: Why is Unity Important? V 21b, 23b, 21a:

App: We must learn to do life together .

3: How do we get there? V 23

First: The closer we get to God the closer we get to each other

Second: Unity is an uphill climb

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Ephesians 4:3

How should we respond?

1: Spend time this week focusing on the vertical

2: Get with God’s people: Multiply movement

-Be intentional noticing people. Ask: “What might God be doing in their lives?”

-Begin praying for them, asking God to show you what He might want you to do to bless them

-Listen to them. Try to understand them

-Ask questions: Be curious about them. What’s their story?

What is God’s Spirit speaking into your life today? How must you respond?
