It is the Start of Late Season Deer Hunting. By this time the deer in your area have been bumped, spooked, and probably shot at a time or two by now. The best thing that comes from late season is most of the “non-hardcore” Whitetail Hunters have packed it in and the woods are far less crowded. Deer that have been moving mostly at night are starting to poke their heads back out in the daylight because of lessened pressure and cooler temperatures. Scott has a couple of trophy bucks walking around on his land and just got another Virginia stud on the ground tonight. For those of you keeping score... yes… I am still trying to get one on the ground, but I do have a couple of prospects frequenting my trail camera.
