Since January, Direct Relief has been equipping healthcare workers with personal protective equipment to keep them safe while treating COVID-19 patients. In total, Direct Relief has shipped out 30,000 pounds of personal protective equipment and nearly one million N-95 masks. But as infections soar and stockpiles dwindle, allocating these scarce resources becomes a challenge.
