Drop in not out

Another fun read from Susan McBride. While the culprit was revealed to me early on in this story it was a good read with interesting characters and I raised my opinion even higher of Cissy. Quite a woman.

This series is a winner

The relationship between the reluctant debutante, Andrea, and her socialite mother, Cissy continues to evolve in this 3rd book of the series. With the unexpected deaths of two of Cissy's friends; Cissy decides to go undercover and play detective, much to Andrea's horror. The story is entertaining, albeit pretty predictable as far as who dun it. The big question is: Has Cissy attracted a beau? Will she be responsive? And, most important, how will Daddy's girl Andrea feel about the relationship?

Fans of the series will enjoy it; and, since each book is a stand alone story, newcomers will probably be motivated to go back and read the first two books.

Once again Susan McBride has thrilled me with the characters, with the storyline, with the twists, and with the whole shebang!

I really like this series

I really like this series! I enjoyed this book in the series a lot! I really like that Andy and Cissy seem to be connecting in a more personal way. Cissy is lighter, more accessible!

Humor and murder make this a delightful mystery

Susan's amateur detective mother-daughter team are delightfully zany, but ultimately effective in solving murders in an upscale retirement community. A fast and fun read!
