I'm a lone wolf. But, I chose this.

Not because I didn't want to belong. But because belonging meant making myself smaller. It meant staying numb. It meant saying yes to things my body was screaming no to.

And at some point, I realized: I'd rather be alone and awake than surrounded and asleep.

This is the story of choosing myself. Choosing my gifts. Choosing God over the systems that tried to convince me for decades that knowing God required a middleman.
