You'll recognize Tyson Purcell as the storyteller who told a great story about his father passing, and his disdain for softball at the last story slam event. Tyson came on the show to talk with Adam about comedy, life, and share a short story he wrote at age 17. It Ain’t Gonna Work with Jim Tews

We had our first story slam event in over three years this last weekend and it was so truly incredible to be back at Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center for stories, community, and fun. 
Our winning storyteller, Jessica Regan, shares a great story all about how sometimes you have to be bold enough to say hello first, often to a stranger. We can learn a thing or two from Jessica and her son. In fact, I wrote about it on the new Madison Story Slam website in a blog post here.
