In this sermon we look at the devastating account of 1 Samuel chapter 4. All that God promised Eli comes to pass in a single day, the Lord brings swift judgement upon the house of Eli and even the ark of God is taken by the Philistines! But, in the midst of dark times for God’s people, we see that God is still working His plan of redemption and showing Himself high above all the gods of the nations.
