“The Lord Had Called Us for to Preach the Gospel” Acts 16-21

This week we are studying Acts 16-21 “The Lord Had Called Us for to Preach the Gospel”. We read how Paul is directed in a vision to preach in Macedonia—he heals a slave girl—He and Silas are imprisoned, and they convert the jailor—They admonish all to believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved. Paul, in Athens, preaches from Mars’ Hill about the unknown god—He says, We are the offspring of God. Paul confers the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. This week the children will come away knowing: Missionaries teach people about Jesus. I can be a missionary now. I am a child of God. These verses can help your family have a discussion about the importance of being baptized and confirmed.
