The Lord Jesus Christ, the Living one

Listen Later

In the following Gospel you will hear of three different persons where the Lord Jesus, the living one came into their circumstances. Today the Gospel is still being proclaimed and the living Lord Jesus is still working within the souls of mankind. God’s desire is that you may be saved. This is why Jesus His only begotten son came down from heaven and journeyed to the cross. It was at the cross where Jesus suffered for our sins and provided salvation for sinners.
Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Acts 9:1-5 “But Saul, still breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, came to the high priest and asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, so that if he found any who were of the way, both men and women, he might bring [them] bound to Jerusalem. But as he was journeying, it came to pass that he drew near to Damascus; and suddenly there shone round about him a light out of heaven, and falling on the earth he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why dost thou persecute me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he [said], *I* am Jesus, whom *thou* persecutest.”
John 20:25 -27 “The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. And eight days after, his disciples were again within, and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace [be] to you. Then he says to Thomas, Bring thy finger here and see my hands; and bring thy hand and put it into my side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.”
John 4:25-29 “The woman says to him, I know that Messiah is coming, who is called Christ; when *he* comes he will tell us all things. Jesus says to her, I who speak to thee am [he]. And upon this came his disciples, and wondered that he spoke with a woman; yet no one said, What seekest thou? or, Why speakest thou with her? The woman then left her waterpot and went away into the city, and says to the men, Come, see a man who told me all things I had ever done: is not he the Christ?”
