This is a study of the Old Testament prophesies concerning the Messiah.  The coming Messiah was prophesied throughout the Old Testament because God wanted everyone to be able to identify the Messiah when He came.  After the death of Jesus Christ, the disciples became discouraged, thinking they had been wrong about Jesus.  Jesus explained to the men using the Old Testament Scriptures and demonstrated that He was the Christ.
