After 51 hours, the Lord of Shadows is defeated, and peace is restored… at least in Dragon Quest XI. In today’s short update, I celebrate a hard-fought JRPG victory, reflect on what made the experience feel both traditional and special, and ask the big question: what do I play next? (Please don’t say another 50-hour RPG.)
