There is a far greater danger to us than the cruelest of weather elements: evil itself. Cold-heartedly deceptive, Satan—the enemy of our souls—seeks to draw us away from the Lord’s love and the Lord’s will. Without Christ, one’s spiritual future is desperately dark; apart from him, we can get caught up in the tangles of sin and its painful consequences.
