In this day and age vampire moves are a dime a dozen and come in every shape, size, and level of sparkle. But this month's film marked one of the most iconic depictions of a modern day vampire possible and, at least of the opinion of this here podcaster, influenced the likes of later released Buffy the vampire slayer and twilight. Making emo hearts of the 80s blacken with joy this film is still enjoyable today with its iconic style, fun characters and is very understandably a cult classic.
