"Suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?" This is how Jesus began an important parable in Luke chapter fifteen about a woman who searched for a coin with great care. After she found it, she called her neighbors and friends over to rejoice with her. Did you know that over every sinner who repents and believes there is also rejoicing in Heaven? Just as the angels sang with great joy over Christ's birth, they also celebrate over us making that decision. In this season of Christmas, we celebrate the One who makes this possible. The Bible says, "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” As His children, we have the privilege of being a part of His saving grace!
