Jeff Maynard
A mystic explorer, George Hubert Wilkins, was appointed the official photographer under Charles Bean at the Western Front during WWI. Author Jeff Maynard discovered Wilkins’ lost records in the USA in 2014 and uses them to illustrate the remarkable story of the man who put a face to the Anzac legend. Peter Wolfenden also provides a demonstration of a 1912 Thornton Pickard full plate camera similar to the one used by George Wilkins and Frank Hurley on the Western Front.
