For 15 years, the duo of Ian and Sylvia Tyson dominated the folk and pop scene. They each wrote some of the best-loved songs of the era and collaborated with Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash, and more. Although the duo and their marriage broke up in 1975, they have remained part of the consciousness of music history. Nearly 40 years after last performances, Stony Plain Records have uncovered some forgotten recordings. "The Lost Tapes: Ian & Sylvia," is now in shops as a double CD and LP. Ian Tyson sat down with Russell Bowers to play some of the tracks from the album, and catch up on his current life and music.
