  • Life & Death, Part One: The Portal — How Lexie Dolan Found Her Calling at the Threshold

She moved to New York for the glitzy, glamorous life. Then she woke up at 2:30am, gave herself a blowout, and walked around the block for four hours, because she knew everything was about to change.

Lexie Dolan came to Teresa when she was a full-time event producer on tour looking for help communicating with her team. By the third session, something much deeper had surfaced.

In this episode, Lexie shares the full arc: from moving to New York during Covid and slowly realizing the life she'd imagined wasn't the life she wanted, to the 2:30am wake-up that led to a four-hour walk around the block before making one of the hardest decisions of her life. She left her long-term relationship, her city, and her career all at once, and went home to fall apart in the safest way she knew how.

She went to a horse ranch in Montauk, a plant medicine retreat in Dallas, a whiteboard at a Love Lizzy retreat, and then came a calling she didn't see coming: birth, postpartum, and end of life doula work in Los Angeles.

This episode is about what it looks like to guide yourself by emotion rather than logic. To stop being passive and start making empowered choices. And to trust that something is on the other side of the hardest thing, even when you have absolutely no idea what it is.

    Topics covered:

    — The triangle: city, relationship, and job — and knowing the combination is wrong

    — What passive decision-making costs you and how to step into empowered choice

    — Guiding by emotion rather than logic: the Facebook scroll moment that changed everything

    — The 2:30am wake-up, the four-hour walk, and the decision that changed everything

    — What animalistic grief actually feels like — and why it heals

    — The horse ranch, the plant medicine retreat, and the unexpected doors that open when you surrender

    — From event producer to doula: witnessing people at life's most sacred thresholds

In this solo cast, Teresa shares the story of lying on the bathroom floor at 22, unable to breathe, holding a phone she could no longer dial, and the long, non-linear journey of learning to turn her own light back on without the person who always knew how to do it for her.

She talks about her mother's gift for infusing art into everything, how grief made her abandon her own creativity, and what happened when she finally picked up a guitar and wrote a song about her heartbreak. You'll hear it in this episode.

And then she announces something she and her team have been building for a year: the Turn Your Light On Studio, a space where women can come to make sense of the parts of themselves that feel overwhelmed, stuck, or scared, and rediscover the voice inside them that has always known how to lead.

  • Coming Home to Earth: Julia Sabatine on Herbalism, Natural Living & Building in Bulgaria

What do you build when a decade of wandering finally shows you where you belong?

In Part 1 of the Free Life series, Julia Sabatine traced the path from Ireland to Budapest to Argentina and beyond, following synchronicity across borders and learning to trust the world one stranger at a time. In Part 2, Teresa and Julia explore what happens after the path leads you somewhere and you decide to stay.

Julia settled in Bulgaria, where she has built a working farm and curated gardens with the help of volunteers from around the world. She trained as an herbalist and launched a natural skincare line rooted in the land around her. She created a natural fiber clothing line as an act of intentional living. And she built an art incubator where creatives come together to grow, make, and heal.

This episode is about what it means to heal from society: from the pressure to produce, from the disconnection of modern life, from the noise that keeps us from hearing what our bodies and the earth are trying to tell us. And it's about how the lessons of a slow, free, deeply connected life can become the foundation for something that lasts.

    Topics covered:

    — Why Bulgaria, and what it felt like to finally put down roots

    — Building a farm and art incubator from the ground up

    — Becoming an herbalist and what plant medicine teaches you about healing

    — Launching a natural skincare line and natural fiber clothing line

    — What a decade of travel taught Julia about building something lasting

    — How to bring nature back into your everyday life — practically and spiritually

    — The volunteer community that makes it all possible

    — What freedom looks like when it has an address

If Part 1 was about following the path, Part 2 is about what you find when you arrive.

    ────────────────────────────

Julia Sabatine is a musician, organic farmer, and herbalist who has lived in Ireland, Budapest, Argentina, the Netherlands, Serbia, Istanbul, and more. She speaks five languages, has spent a decade as a traveling volunteer on organic farms, and has built a life that most people wouldn't dare to imagine.

In this episode, she traces it all the way back: to the instinct that said rest after college, to a stranger in Florida who offered her a pub job in Galway, to a phone call at their grandfather's grave that told her to go to Budapest. This is Part 1 of Julia's story.

This episode is for anyone who has ever felt the pull toward something that didn't make sense on paper and wondered if they were crazy for wanting it.

  • Bet on Yourself Before You Feel Ready

Self-doubt isn't a feeling to push through. It's an addiction to break.

In this season finale solo cast, Teresa records from her hotel in New York City while preparing for a summer trip to see her sister. She reflects on a year of illness, and gears up for a second surgery this fall. Out of all that comes a question she keeps returning to: what does it actually mean to bet on yourself?

This episode is for every woman who has started the thing, is building the thing, and still catches herself looking over her shoulder. Teresa shares what she's learned from coaching hundreds of entrepreneurs, taking on her first outside investor, buying a farm, and navigating chronic illness, and why leveraging yourself is one of the most powerful confidence-building moves you can make.

    Topics covered:

    — What it means to truly leverage yourself and why it's different from just "committing to success"

    — Why confidence doesn't come from certainty; it comes from not giving up

    — The honest truth about betting on your own ideas (including the resentment nobody talks about)

    — What freedom actually means and why the answer is different for every woman

    — The 90-day challenge: how to treat self-doubt like the addiction it is

    — The voice memo practice Teresa uses to coach herself through doubt in real time

    — A season wrap and preview of what's coming in Season 3

  • Your Body Is Not the Enemy: Healing Chronic Illness Through the Mind-Body Connection with Dr. Erin

What if your chronic illness isn't something to fight, but something to listen to?

In this episode, Teresa sits down with Dr. Erin, a naturopath turned mind-body medicine practitioner and founder of the Sacred Illness community, to explore a radically different approach to healing chronic illness.

Dr. Erin shares her own journey from people-pleasing naturopath to mind-body pioneer, and walks us through the exact framework she used to heal herself and hundreds of women.

Together, Teresa and Dr. Erin explore:

⬩ Why chronic illness is often rooted in suppressed emotions, early trauma, and the nervous system, i.e., not genetics or diet alone

⬩ The Sacred Illness Blueprint: a step-by-step hero's journey through shadow work, somatic healing, vision work, and nervous system reprogramming

⬩ Why conventional medicine treats symptoms but often misses the root cause, and how to use both approaches without abandoning either

⬩ What it means to stop fighting your body and start having a conversation with it

⬩ Somatic tools for managing flare-ups in real time (including the simple two-finger technique that stopped a flare in its tracks)

⬩ Why the goal isn't symptom-free living, but rather a new, empowered relationship with your body

⬩ Dr. Erin's mission to train a global network of Sacred Illness practitioners to change the healthcare paradigm from the inside out

  • The Drama Triangle, Male Friendship & Rescuer Fatigue

What happens when the strong one finally puts herself first?

This week I sit with a woman from our community who has been carrying everyone else since she was a little girl. She is exhausted from having her boundaries crossed by the men in her life, feeling unseen in her family, and never once being asked what she needs. And she finally asks the question so many of us are afraid to ask out loud.

Do I get to be the one who is taken care of?

We explore the drama triangle and the rescuer role, go down memory lane to share the roadmap for what love and support from the men in your life should actually look like, and offer multiple things you can do in the moment to hear your own boundaries more clearly, shift the attention back onto your own needs without the guilt, and move through the world relying completely on your intuition.

  • Why Helping Women Helps Everyone: The Love, Lizzy Mission

    You are not alone.

When I was 19 years old I found myself alone and scared in a hospital in a strange city. One human made one of the hardest days of my life a little bit easier with four words: you are not alone. That particular serendipitous encounter was the first Love, Lizzy light bulb that turned on in my mind.

In this episode I am opening the door and inviting you into our little workshop. I am sharing the full origin story of this brand, the vision we are building toward, and why I believe that helping women does not just help women. It helps everyone.

Share space with me as I tell the founding story of Love, Lizzy and why it started with a hospital visit at 19 that led to a merch shop, which leads to the companion hotline vision, and the Love Lizzy sacred houses.

We explore (even though we think it is so obvious) why helping women is good for men, families, and entire communities, what it really looks like to build something meaningful from the bottom of the mountain, and a peek at what is coming next on the podcast.

It takes $50 a night to house a woman at a safe house in Florida. You can donate to the safe house in Love, Lizzy's neighborhood if you feel called to make a donation to help women and girls.
