  • The Chase: Feeding The Ego, Starving The Soul

A fictional story about a cheetah that fell in love with the pursuit of its prey. A metaphor for how emotionally starved our generation has become as it glorifies temporary highs, quick thrills, and empty pursuits. Told from the POV of the predator.

    Hey Lover, welcome back 🌹🫶🏽

This episode is a little different. I did a fun cheetah makeup look and was inspired to create a tale about how this character would perceive and engage with love. Especially with a companion it perceives as its prey.

Chasing a temporary high, letting it go on for longer than necessary out of enjoyment of the thrill. Devouring the prey would be good for the cheetah, it would nourish its body, and sustain it, similarly in our generation, settling down and loving each other honestly and truthfully would be good for us, but just like the cheetah that only chases is prey for fun (out of the constant need to be reminded of its power, i.e validation, the validation of knowing it can have any target at any time) just so it can have something to chase, toying with its source of nourishment, we toy with one another, playing with the thing that would actually sustain us (true connection, love, monogamy, the opportunity to be fully seen and accepted without overextending ourselves or forcefully expressing our power and identity onto others) out of the thrill of engaging in the game. Now, while human beings and relationships cannot be realistically compared to the hunt between predator and prey, there is a certain parallel that can be drawn between a bored and lonely cheetah who only chases for the thrill, and the state of our generation who mostly engages in situationships out of boredom and not because they’re actually looking to be fulfilled. Ultimately the cheetah is looking for companionship (while still trying to prove “it’s got it like that” but the problem is that it’s looking for it in the wrong places and going about it in the wrong way, it inevitably starves and dies because it cannot bring itself to accept its nature and condition. Similarly, the parts of us (as humanity) that seek true connection die when we engage in “the game” of dating around with no intention and playing one another. We starve ourselves for the sake of playing the game. We starve our true nature, a nature that truly does seek out and thrive in genuine companionship.

    I hope you enjoy 🌹🫶🏽

  • FROM REFLECTION 2 AUDACITyEE - Appreciating the past while embracing the present

    Hey my LoveLee ❤️

I’ve missed you! We’ve got so much to catch up on.

I started this year convinced the last one hadn’t given me much, but reflection changed everything.

In this episode, I look back at 2025 with honesty, take stock of the chances I took and the lessons I earned, and then ground myself in where I am now.

This is about choosing a new energy, one rooted in audacity, self-belief, and openness to what’s next. A gentle but confident nudge to stop doubting your journey and move forward with intention. If you’re ready to stop waiting until you feel ready, and start trusting who you’re becoming, this one’s for you. An invitation to carry your lessons with you, release false humility, and step into new experiences with clarity and confidence.

I hope you like it ❤️

Oh and, Happy New Year! 🤗 May this year bring you all your heart’s desires and new opportunities you never even imagined.

    Love, Lee 🌹

  • A Conversation With Kujenga

    Hey you! Welcome back ❤️

In this truly special episode, I sat down with the incredible Cape Town based jazz and 'Black Improvised Music' band Kujenga. We met up at a cute cafe in the heart of Johannesburg to chat about crowd-favourites such as Abaphantsi, the legacy they’re building, and the importance of authenticity and conscientisation in their music. We also get into the meaning behind their song Remembrance, their capsule collection with Artclub and Friends, and then loosen things up with some spicy ice breakers - an opportunity I used to get to know the musicians on a deeper level.

A special thanks goes out to the band for making time to see me on a freezing winter afternoon after a hectic gig night in Jozi🥹 I truly appreciate you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

If you made it to the “Mystery Question” let me know in the comments and we might just be able to convince the band to come back for another chat and mystery question reveal🥹✨

Did somebody say “first ever interview”?🤭

I’m beyooond excited to share this project with you!✨

    I know you”ll love this!🌹

  • Recognising FUTURE YOU|Living with intention

In this soul-stirring episode, I explore what it really means to become your future self. If you’ve ever felt stuck between who you are and who you’re meant to be, this one’s for you.

We all aspire to be the best versions of ourselves but what are we doing in our daily and current lives to prepare for that life we want?

I’d like you to remember that a dream life is built from the inside out and never the other way around. Don’t be afraid to slow down on the journey to becoming. Some days will be better than others and our energy levels won’t always remain constant. We won’t always feel like our best selves but if we’re striving to give the best that we can in every moment, we’re doing better than when we weren’t giving anything at all. Even the sun isn’t felt as intensely every single day, sometimes clouds appear, these are like the uncontrollable circumstances we face IRL. However the clouds do not take anything away from the sun. It still lives in its purpose. Learn to take everything with a grain of salt and keep moving. That’s how you step into your future self.

Preparing for the life you want means being fully present, you’re going to have to take an honest look at your life. Look away if it hurts you. You should love who you see when you look in the mirror, and if you cannot love this version, stop looking at the things that don’t bring you a sense of peace and purpose, take attention away from those things, switch up your habits and start living with intention. Love and take care of what you have now. Create the version of you that you’re proud of by being that person now. You’re truly only your best self when you’re loving yourself, and this requires for you to know yourself, your habits, beliefs, and capabilities.

So what are you going to fill your days with? The idea that time is running out and you’re behind in life or are you gonna fill it with things you love and trust that you’ll be wise enough to do what’s good for you along the journey of self discovery?

Just a little food for thought.

I truly believe in you, and I love you, always.

    Your loving host,

    Nompumelelo “Miss Love” Lee Ndlovu

  • THE MOTION OF YOU - Remaining Mentally Strong Even When Tragedy Strikes|2025 Affirmations

Okay so I may have gotten a little personal here, but I have a feeling you needed to hear this today ❤️

Hi my LoveLee! Welcome to today’s episode. Happy New Year! There’s so much to unpack today and I honestly feel so blessed that I can do that with you. This episode is especially dedicated to anyone who may have had a difficult 2024 or even a rough start to 2025. Maybe this year hasn’t been the greatest so far but you know what I love most about people like you and me? We always bounce back, no matter what.

In this episode I share a little bit about the kind of experience I have been having in the new year. Spoiler alert 🚨 it hasn’t been great and the festive wasn’t any better either. I also get into the effects that negative emotions have on my capabilities and how I’m actively trying to not let those low moments stop me from pursuing my dreams and practicing gratitude especially when I need it.

Sometimes bad/sad things happen and it’s completely out of our control but that shouldn’t make us feel hopeless. If anything, we should pour deeper into ourselves so that when these things do occur, we are still able to stand our ground and not be crushed by the heaviness of these things.

May we always remember that negativity and unforeseen circumstances have no authority over us. They are merely experiences, even the extremely painful ones. They do not have the authority to stop us in our tracks.

This is the year of recognising emotions but not being overpowered by them. It's the year where we begin to understand that it is our responsibility to give ourselves the best possible life and a chance to not only survive but to truly strive.

I am declaring that this is the year you begin to live intentionally. No matter what happens, nothing can stop you from becoming your best self.

Nothing can stop the motion of you!

    Love, ❤️

    Lee.

  • Soaking in SoLEEtude

    Hi My LoveLees! Welcome 🌹

This episode starts off with me reminiscing on a time I got to truly be alone this year. Then I pose a very clear and simple question: “When is the the last time YOU were with YOURSELF”. I ask this because it seems that the older we get, the more distracted we become and thus the further away we are from our own Selves. We always have to be something to someone so much so that being alone almost feels unnatural and too lonely to bare.

But part of growing up is learning how to be alone without feeling lonely. Loneliness consumes the mind but aloneness creates space for the mind to just be and allows you to take note of what the mind has been consuming. In this space we discover our true potential, the things we cannot take with us on the journey of growth, and the truth about who we are when the world isn’t demanding anything from us.

At 23:25 I share some of the wonderful things I have learned from introspecting and spending time alone. My hope is that this inspires you to dedicate some time to doing some introspecting of your own to discover what your internal dialogue sounds like.

I  can guarantee you that under all that noise and mind chatter is someone worthy and capable of giving themselves a wonderful life, one worth truly living.

    Sincerely,

    Miss Love,

    N. Lee Ndlovu.

  • Embracing Change - It wasn't always like this

[Reflecting on the contrast between confidence and anxiety in my life.]

Hey you! Long time no see 💕 Welcome welcome welcome! Today’s episode is a little “Get To Know Your Host”. I’ll be touching on why I started the podcast, and creating a creative identity. I’ll also be taking you on a mini life journey where I’ll be introducing myself, talking confidence, my experience with anxiety attacks, and resisting change. Just a little glimpse into the personality behind the voice.

If you ever feel too anxious to express your creativity remember that it wasn’t always like this and it won’t always be like this!

When you see me I hope you are inspired to not be crippled by things that are internal, things that are only perceived by you. Both your good and bad parts make up your identity but try by all means to feed into the things that feel good because you’re able.

    All my love,

  • It's Maintenance Day – INTROSPECT

Have you cleaned your house lately?

Here's a thought that will both trigger and heal you -

If depression disguises itself as a dirty mess. We must disguise introspection as cleaning. We could also just… Start cleaning to get our minds off the many problems we face for a moment.

It's possible to find ourselves living with things that weigh us down and clutter up our minds and spaces. It's also possible that the heaviness we feel and blockages we experience are attributed to the fact that we may not be that good at or willing to confront the mess in the first place.

But it’s maintenance day babe, time to put our houses back in order. There's no better time than the present to start creating space for the life you deserve.

"Before you heal, ask yourself if you are willing to give up the things that make you sick".

Do not run from confrontation, instead charge at it with full speed because this is the only way you'll be able to move forward.

To anybody that's really struggling to get in a better mental state - I want you to remember that you are MORE THAN CAPABLE of overcoming the things that make it harder for you to be in a better space. If it's too overwhelming, start by confronting the smallest piece of the clutter and keep digging deeper until you can free yourself from those feelings.

Sending you love and light. ❤️

    Your host,

    Miss Love, Lee Ndlovu. 🌹
